Oasis provide all remediation works which are required on hot and cold water sytems. All our engineers are quailfied plumbers and have many years of experience within the water treatment industry.

 

The following services include but are not limited to:

 

Cold Water Storage Tank Removal

We provide a service where if appropriate, we can remove the existing cold water storage tank and convert the water supplied from the tank to the mains water supply.  This will eliminate the potential risk and opportunity for Legionella bacteria to proliferate within the tank.

 

Re-placement of Cold Water Storage Tank

This service involves removing a non water regulations compliant cold water storage tank and replacing it with a new water regulations compliant cold water storage tank.

 

Relining Internal Walls of Cold Water Storage Tanks

Tanks which are constructed of a material which are no longer compliant to the water regulations (water fittings) regulations 1999.  This is commonly galvanised steel tanks which overtime become rusted, this rust provides a nutrient source for Legionella bacteria.  The tanks are drained and all corrosion removed, the tanks are then lined with a two coat epoxy resin paint which dries and forms a plastic coating to the internal walls of the tank.  This now transforms a non WRAS approved cold water storage tank to be compliant without the need for the tank to be removed and replaced.
